Top seeds Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes overpowered Tomas Berdych and Simone Bolelli 6-1, 6-2 on Friday for a place in the Thailand Open semifinals. Dlouhy and Paes, currently No. 6 in the Stanford ATP Doubles Rankings, won 24 of 30 points on first serve and broke serve four times for victory in just 45 minutes.
The Czech-Indian duo competed together for the first time this year at Roland Garros in June. The pair has since reached the Halle (l. to Youzhny-Zverev) and US Open (l. to Bryan-Bryan) finals and made a semifinal exit at Wimbledon (l. to Nestor-Zimonjic). They have a 19-6 record.
