"Triple double" for RTM

Just one week after Erlich and Ram's amazing achievement in Melbourne, RTM players collected two more trophies in doubles. Today, Benedict Dorsch won the challenger in Dallas together with a fellow German Bjorn Phau. The pair struggled through the first two rounds, entertaining the spectators with thrilling 3rd set super tiebreaks. The later rounds went smoother for the determined Germans and they wrapped up the week with a confident 6-4 6-4 win over the local favorites: Scott Lipsky and David Martin of the USA.

More great news came from the Latin America, where the 15-year-old Russian rising star Lera Solovieva triumphed in the final of a Grade 2 ITF tournament in Peru. She teamed up with a local girl Claudia Razzeto and was rightfully treated as the Peruvian heroine after the championship-deciding three-setter. Lera also reached the tournament final in singles, but unfortunately lost a tough three set match against the American Mallory Burdette.
