Congratulations to RTM Team member Michael Lammer, who completed a sensational run at the Open De Montauban in Montauban, France.
On the heels of an impressive qualifying run at Wimbledon where he lost in the final round in 5 long sets to Fernando Vicente, Lammer swept through the strong field as an unseeded player in this Red Clay event. In the Finals on Sunday, Lammer defeated Thierry Ascione 16 63 76 to take the title...over 3,000Euros and 50 ATP ranking points. The win catapulted Michael up to 225 in the rankings, near his career-high of 206. With no ranking points to defend for the remainder of the year, Michael is looking to make a serious run up the ranking charts.
This week Michael received a Main Draw Wild Card into the Allianz Swiss Open in Gstaad...He will play Werner Eschauer in the first round.
