On Saturday, February 10th the international grassroots junior competition called Once Upon A Time Tennis (OUATT) presented by Babolat made its 2007 debut in North America Moore Park in Miami. About 50 children aged 9-16 competed on what was a gorgeous afternoon in South Florida. The event was sponsored and hosted by Renaissance Tennis Management.
Winners and finalists received trophies and prizes supplied by Babolat were given out. North American ambassador, Lera Solovieva, came by and participated in a doubles exhibition with other top local juniors Alex Kelly, Nicole Monteiro, and Kevin Deligny.
Winners were also invited to compete in the OUATT International event that will be held this summer in Umag, Croatia. More qualifying events will be announced shortly in Florida and other parts of the country. If you want to learn more about OUATT or are interested in being the promoter for a qualifying event in your area please contact Scot Hirschfield at
