Top seed Flavia Pennetta has made short work of her quarter-final at the ASB tennis Classic in Auckland.
The Italian has thrashed Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova 6-1, 6-2 to book a place in the semi-finals.
Pennetta, the world No 12, says it was an enjoyable match as she played great tennis.
She says her serve was very good and she was very focused and aggressive from the beginning.
She has just dropped 13 games in the tournament to date.
Pennetta will await the winner of tonight's quarter-final between Frenchwoman Alize Cornet and fourth seed Francesca Schiavone.
